Xerox Corporation will open a customer care call center in Webster that will create 500 new jobs over the next two years.
Xerox will invest $4.3 million to renovate an existing building on the company's campus in Webster. The 23,000-square-foot space will become a state-of-the-art call center and will be staffed to provide customer care support on behalf of a Xerox client in the telecommunications industry.
The renovation is expected to be completed in October, and the company plans to begin accepting applications for call center agents and managers in March.
Xerox currently employs more than 34,000 agents in 150 call centers around the world.
