Volunteers are needed to work Lyons Main Street Program’s annual PumpkinPalooza, which will be held Oct. 21.

The annual events is attended by friends and family to enjoy a variety of foods, games, activities and the Great Pumpkin Roll.

Volunteers are needed to greet and direct vendors throughout Central Park, set up tables, sell pumpkins, clean throughout the day, construct a fence for the pumpkin roll, help during the pumpkin roll and help with pumpkin roll cleanup.

Various activities and programs will also need volunteers. Volunteers are not required to work the entire day, only during certain time periods when activities are happening.

Community members must make a firm, guaranteed commitment by March 1. Lyons Main Street Program, 70 William St., Lyons, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
