Two residents had been inside the home and both managed to get out.

The Ontario Fire Department says that a log cabin house was a total loss following a fire.
The Fire Department says the house was at 2345 Trimble Road in the town of Ontario, and the call for it came out shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.
Ontario Fire Department responded and got assistance at the scene from the Lincoln Fire Department and the Pultneyville Fire Department. Williamson Fire Department was on standby for both the towns of Ontario and Williamson. Two residents had been inside the home and both managed to get themselves out. There were no reported injuries.
According to the fire department, the cause of the fire is thought to be hot embers from a stove.
