Walworth resident joins Clark Patterson Lee
Eric Matzan, of Walworth, recently joined Clark Patterson Lee, a full-service design firm based in Rochester, as a senior mechanical engineer.
Matzan will be responsible for the mechanical design supporting buildings, facilities and industrial projects such as hydronic; steam; chilled water; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; process piping; purified water; chemical process; and controls. He has more than 30 years in the engineering industry, recently serving as senior mechanical engineer for Hunt Engineers, Architects and Surveyors.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and completed graduate studies in chemical engineering at Syracuse University.
Rochester Regional Health senior staff receive promotions
Theresa Glessner, of Webster, and Trisha Koczent, of Geneva, recently received promotions at Rochester Regional Health.
Glessner was promoted to vice president and chief nursing officer for Rochester Regional Health’s eastern region. She will oversee clinical care at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic and Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
She previously served as director of nursing for clinical care, clinical education, nursing research and the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing at Rochester Regional Health. She holds a doctorate in nursing practice along with multiple nursing credentials.
Koczent was promoted to vice president of operations for Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. She will be responsible for the on-site, day-to-day operations at the hospital. She is a certified public accountant and a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Previously, she served Newark-Wayne Community Hospital’s senior director of operations, leading work in clinical integration, patient satisfaction, business growth and staff development. She currently serves as vice chairman of the United Way of Wayne County.
