Lyons Heritage Society’s regular meeting will celebrate the centennial of women’s suffrage in New York at 7 p.m. March 20 at Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad St.
Members and their guests will watch “Iron Jawed Angels,” which depicts the true story of Alice Paul and Lucy Burns, who put their lives at risk during the women’s suffrage movement to help American women win the right to vote.
LHS will hold a brief business meeting at intermission. Refreshments will be served.
