MANCHESTER — A Wayne County man is in satisfactory condition at Strong Memorial Hospital after the snowmobile he was operating overturned in the town of Manchester on Thursday night.

At around 7:30 p.m., 55-year-old Jeffrey R. Cook, of Newark, was traveling north on Pioneer Road when he failed to negotiate a turn, causing the sled to flip, according to Ontario County sheriff’s deputies.

Cook was transported to the Rochester-based facility for an evaluation, deputies said.
