Deputies said they had to pursue the woman for over a mile on Routes 5 and 20.
Ontario County Sheriff’s charged Dennie C. Lynn, 41, of Goose Street in Stanley with driving while intoxicated and numerous other charges after deputies say she was observed speeding 91 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Deputies said they tried to stop Lynn’s vehicle and had to pursue her for more than a mile on Routes 5 and 20 before she came to a stop. Lynn was taken to Ontario County Jail where she refused a Datamaster DMT test to determine the amount of alcohol in her blood, deputies said
Lynn was charged with DWI, failure to comply with a lawful order, speed over 55 mph, speed limit zone and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was charged on Flint Road in town of Seneca at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Lynn was held in jail and will be arraigned in Canandaigua City Court. Lynn is also due back in Seneca Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
