The village of Newark recently announced that the village saw a 65 percent rise in the dollar amount of commercial and industrial projects in 2016 over 2015.
With projects such as Westfall Cardiology’s new office, Newark Wayne Community Hospital’s new lab and new entrance, Craft 120 Restaurant’s build out, AT&T’s new building, Mooseberry Soap Company’s relocation and renovations, Edward Jones’ office renovations and other smaller projects, there was construction activity in many areas of the village throughout the year.
As 2017 kicks off with the sight of steel being erected for the new Newcut building along West Shore Boulevard, the village of Newark remains optimistic that 2017 will bring another year of substantial growth in commercial and industrial projects.
