Lyons Heritage Society will host Walt Gable, Seneca County historian, as he presents “From Seneca Falls in 1848 to 1917: Securing Women’s Suffrage in New York” at 7 p.m. April 17 at Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad St.
Gable’s talk is part of LHS’s Year of the Woman to celebrate the centennial of women earning the right to vote in New York. Additional activities and events are planned throughout the year.
