Wayne Central student earns Polish Heritage Society of Rochester scholarship
Madison Goodman, of Wayne Central High School, recently earned a $4,000 scholarship from the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester.
Goodman was one of 10 students from the Greater Rochester area to win a scholarship this year.
PHSR reported that 33 students applied for the scholarship.
DeMay Living Center promotes Newark resident
Rochester Regional Health recently promoted Christine Stalker, of Newark, to administrator at DeMay Living Center in Newark.
Stalker will be responsible for planning and directing operations of the nursing home, supervising administrative and clinical affairs of the facility, administering budgets and overseeing the activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social service, activity and volunteer departments.
She previously managed DeMay’s adult day health care program, Friends for the Day, and has served as director of adult day services at RRH for seven adult day centers located across Monroe and Wayne counties.
Reliant Community Credit Union hires financial adviser
Devon Littlefield recently joined Reliant Community Credit Union as financial adviser for its Reliant Investment Services program.
Littlefield comes to RIS from Citizens Investment Services at Citizens Bank, where he served as a financial adviser. In his new position, he will meet with members to review and monitor their investment plans, guide them through the vast array of investment choices and help them to create and make adjustments to their personalized plans.
“I look forward to the opportunity to implement my 17-plus years of industry experience, to sit alongside Reliant Community Credit Union members and their families as a trusted partner to help them create, implement and monitor their financial planning needs,” Littlefield said.
