The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

A man injured in a crash in the town of Macedon Saturday later died of his injuries, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. According to the report, Donald Kneeland, 83, was exiting a shopping complex about 5:20 p.m. and traveling southbound when he crossed over Route 31 to Wilson Road. A westbound vehicle, with the right of way, was unable to stop and struck Mr. Kneeland's vehicle, according to deputies.

Mr. Kneeland was taken to Strong Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. There is an ongoing investigation into the accident. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by South Macedon Fire Department, Macedon Center Fire Department, and Macedon Town Ambulance.
