Newark Garden Club and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 400 S. Main St., Newark, will host the St. Mark’s Garden Faire and Tea Room at 9 a.m. May 13.
The event will feature annuals, perennials and herb plants along with Mother’s Day gifts, raffle prizes, a treasure table, vendors such as ARC Artisans and Partyline Gifts, baked goods and a hot dog stand.
The club will host an old-fashioned tea from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in St. Mark’s Parish Hall, complete with tea sandwiches, fruit, scones and cookies with tea or lemonade. Admission costs $8 for adults, $5 for ages 3-10 and free for ages 2 and younger. To make a reservation, call 315-331-8535.
Attendees will have advanced access to a geranium sale benefitting Victim’s Resource Center. Each 4-inch plant costs $3.50, and colors available include red, white, pink or salmon. Large orders must be ordered by May 3 at 315-331-3610.
