Ontario County Rope Rescue Team and Cheshire Fire Department rescued a man from the bottom of a waterfall Saturday in Onanda Park in Canandaigua.

Jacob A. Peck, 19, of Macedon, fell about three stories when he fell off the cliff shortly after 8 p.m., according to Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies. Peck was taken by Canandaigua Emergency Squad to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Peck injured his right shoulder from the fall, deputies said.

Finger Lakes Ambulance also helped at the scene.
