Driver and passenger taken into custody after fleeing scene, police say

ROCHESTER —  A car smashed into an apartment building on North Clinton Avenue Monday afternoon. Police said no one was hurt in the crash.

The crash happened on North Clinton Avenue at the intersection of St. Bridget's Drive, across the street from School #9.

Police say a car, that had been reported stolen in the City of Rochester, crashed into the building around 2:10 p.m.

After the crash, officer say the driver and passenger fled the vehicle. They were taken into custody shortly after.

Charges are pending in the case.
