Clyde-Savannah High School recently commended its honor students for their strong academic performance at its third-quarter ice cream social.
The social recognized students holding the highest average in grades 9-12 along with students of the quarter named by each academic department.
Students recommended by each department for the third quarter are Samantha Kalinski, art; Keith Hendrix, technology; Serenity Hudson, English/language arts; Cody Lewis, foreign language; Isaiah Lee, health; Charles Hyde, math; Tre Kanaley, music; James Gill, physical education; Virginia Smith, science; and Courtney Bowen, social studies.
Students with the highest GPA for the third quarter are Jack Bastian, ninth grade; Noah Bastedo, 10th grade; Abigail Dapolito, 11th grade; and Cassandra Lawson, 12th grade. Bastedo and Lawson each had quarter GPAs over 100 percent.
