Marion Central School District recently released school election results for its budget, bus proposition and board of education members.
Voters approved the district’s $18,924,625 budget for the 2017-18 school year by 215 to 54 votes. MCSD was authorized to purchased a new school bus at an estimated $113,000 by 224 to 45 votes.
Keith Hendricks and Rob Marshall were elected to serve two-year terms on the board of education. Henricks received 235 votes and Marshall received 234 votes along with eight write-in votes.
