APTA appoints Ontario resident
Chris Chimenti, of Ontario, was recently appointed vice president of American Physical Therapy Association’s Home Health Section.
He will serve as the liaison to the publications, practice and research committees.
In his role as senior director of innovation and education at HCR Home Care, Chimenti manages a team of more than 50 therapists and focuses on specialty program development, best practice standards and community outreach.
He earned his master’s degree in physical therapy from Slippery Rock University and his bachelor’s degree from Grove City College.
Wayne Central senior receives Alfred State scholarship
Brody Estabrook, of Macedon, recently received a $2,000 Vocational Excellence Scholarship to attend Alfred State College in the fall.
Estabrook is slated to graduate from Wayne Central High School this year. He intends to enroll in the welding technology program at Alfred State.
The scholarship is awarded to first-time freshmen entering a program taught at the School of Applied Technology at Wellsville. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 83 high school average through their junior year and demonstrate vocational excellence through education, employment, competition, military experience and other activities.
Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA while attending Alfred State.
Clyde resident joins Geneva Rotary Club
Harley Roberson, of Clyde, recently joined Geneva Rotary Club.
Roberson received his accounting degree in 2014 from Hartwick College in Oneonta.
He works at Petrella Phillips LLP, formerly Fredericksen & Sirianni LLP, in Geneva.
Ontario resident joins EFPR Group
William McCandless, of Ontario, recently joined EFPR Group LLP as an inside sales representative in its Rochester office.
McCandless has over 18 years of sales and business development experience within the corporate area.
His background includes go-to-market strategy, demand generation campaigns, customer success, brand awareness, product and solution management, business planning, sales alignment, social promotion, creation of sales and market ready assets and closing business.
