The new-look Post Publications are here!

Today, current readers of the Post papers circulating in Monroe, Wayne and the northwest portion of Ontario County will receive a new redesigned and streamlined edition of The Post. The new publication will feature additional news stories on the front page in a more traditional design and comes in response to the demands of readers and advertisers alike for more local and regional content and countywide sales materials.  We are excited about The Post and its many improved features, and we hope you find a lot to like about it, as well.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What changes were made to The Post publications?
The Post has been streamlined into five publications that will serve Monroe, Wayne and portions of Ontario County. The Post - Chili, Gates and Greece, The Post - Irondequoit, Penfield and Webster, The Post - Brighton, East Rochester, Fairport, Henrietta and Pittsford and The Post - Irondequoit, Penfield and Webster will publish on Thursdays. Finally, the The Post - Farmington and Victor (Formerly Victor Post) will publish on Fridays. The Wayne Post will not change.

Why were the papers streamlined?
The publications were streamlined to meet the demands of readers to include more local and regional content in The Post.

Is the font style or size of the stories changing?
No. This will not change and the generous 10-point font size will maintain the easy-reading experience.

What is the deal with the colorful boxes on the front page?
These items are called cards and they'll be used to promote content inside the newspaper or on our website. They are intended to appear in different places on the page to allow for strong presentation of local news.

Will my content move to another page?
Maybe. Because the changes may require accommodating new content, you may find your favorite content on another page. The index at the bottom of Page 1 will help you find what you're looking for.

Are the photos bigger than before?
Yes. The redesign calls for using a five-column grid where possible. This allows for larger photos to be used.

Why does the paper look brighter?
More white space is being used to clean up the look of the newspaper. The white space helps define each story and improves the reading experience.
