Brent Gibala-Broxholm, of Walworth, recently graduated with a degree in psychological science from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.

Patrick Russell, of Palmyra, recently graduated with a degree in emergency preparation, homeland security and cybersecurity from University at Albany.

Stephen Daddis, of Ontario, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Colgate University. Mills attended Bishop Kearney High School.

Devin Robson, of Macedon, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science from St. Lawrence University. Robson attended Palmyra-Macedon High School.

Nathaniel Statt, of Marion, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at John Carroll University. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a minimum 3.5 quality GPA.

Nicolette Pecor, of Macedon, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at St. John Fisher College. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 3.5 semester GPA. Pecor, a freshman business major, earned a 4.0 GPA.

Alexa Cornwell, of Newark, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.5-3.899 GPA. Cornwell is a health science major.

Carly Vecchiotti, of Macedon; Michelle Morales, of North Rose; Emily Blaakman, of Ontario; Rachel Bassett, of Palmyra; and Katherine Drake and Summer Howard, of Walworth, were named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at SUNY Oneonta. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 hours and earn a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Mackenzie Sturtz, of Marion, was recently named to the Horizon League All-academic team. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a starter for their team, complete at least 24 semester hours and earn a minimum 3.2 GPA. Sturtz, a graphic design major, is a member of the women’s track and field team at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio.
