Williamson Public Library, 6380 state Route 21, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays in June, July and August.
The library conducted a series of surveys and focus groups led by the Pioneer Library System in 2016. Feedback was positive in terms of library services, offerings and customer service; however, many respondents asked if the library could be open Saturdays during the summer.
This year’s “Build a Better World” summer reading program will include a magic show, juggling, wildlife shows, book crafting and terrarium making and painting classes. All ages can read to enter raffles for prizes. Registration opens June 26.
