Kari Chapman, of Palmyra, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biological science from University of Vermont.

Laura Durham, of North Rose, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at Siena College. To be eligible, students must earn a 3.5-3.89 semester GPA.

Lyndsey Yackel, of Williamson, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at Hofstra University. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Jeremy Unterborn, of Palmyra, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.

Mackenzie Sturtz, of Marion, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art studio graphic interior design from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio.

Catherine Sarver, of North Rose, was named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 3.4 GPA.

Megan Kreuser, of Newark; and Gillian Schmerl, of Walworth, were named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at University of Delaware. To be eligible, full-time students must earn a minimum 3.33 semester GPA.

Margaret Dorfner, of Ontario; and Angela Norris, of Savannah, were named to the spring 2017 president’s list at SUNY Geneseo. To be eligible, a student must complete 12 credit hours and earn a 4.0 semester GPA.

Jenea Shoemaker, of Macedon; Matthew Hall, of Palmyra; and Jacob Jones, of Wolcott, were named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at SUNY Canton. To be eligible, full-time students must earn a 3.25-3.74 GPA.

Emma Thompson, of Ontario; and Nicholas Washburn, of Sodus Point, recently graduated from University of Alabama. Thompson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration. Washburn earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree.

Elijah Durham and Ryan Mumby, of North Rose; and Giulia Mahoney, of Walworth, were named presidential scholars for the spring 2017 semester at Clarkson University. To be eligible, students must complete at least 14 credit hours and earn a minimum 3.8 GPA.

Zachary Allen, of Macedon, recently graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in geology and environmental earth science, a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a minor in sustainability studies from SUNY Oswego. Allen, a 2013 graduate of Gananda High School, graduated with a 3.79 GPA.

To be eligible, students must complete at least 14 credit hours and earn a minimum 3.25 GPA.
