Deputies said man had blood alcohol level of .23 percent and a previous DWI.

A Quaker Road man was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated after deputies arrested him following a traffic stop in the town of Macedon. Michael R. Murray, 39, showed a blood alcohol level of .23 percent according to Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies. Murray was charged with felony DWI due to a previous DWI conviction on June, 17, 2009, in the town of Ontario, according to deputies.

Murray was charged with felony DWI shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, along with vehicle and traffic-related violations including speed in zone, moving from lane unsafely, failure to notify DMV of change of address, uninspected motor vehicle and obstructed view.

Murray was arraigned in Macedon Town Court where he was released on his own recognizance. The judge suspended Murray’s driving privilege. Murray is to reappear in Macedon Town Court at a later date to answer charges.
