Snacks and wine donated by Constellation Brands will be served at event open to the public with registration.
An update on the quality of Canandaigua Lake will be presented at the annual meeting of the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association. The meeting will also include a presentation on Finger Lakes Water Hub. Watershed Program Manager Kevin Olvany will talk about lake water quality and research scientist Anthony Prestigiacomo will talk about the new organization called Finger Lakes Water Hub and the state of the lake.
Along with water quality data, presenters will identify potential threats to the health and overall environment of the lake. Impacts of the area’s recent storm events will also be discussed.
The event is open to the public, with registration requested. It will take place on Thursday, August 17, at 6 p.m. at Finger Lakes Community College, Stage 14, 3325 Marvin Sands Dr. in Hopewell.
