Christina D. Greene, of 2384 Route 350, Lot 29, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree — a felony punishable by two to seven years in prison — in connection with the incident.

A Macedon woman is behind bards after sheriff's deputies say she created a disturbance in her neighborhood early Tuesday by setting off homemade explosives made out of plastic soda bottles, forcing the Monroe County Bomb Squad to respond to the scene.

Christina D. Greene, of 2384 Route 350, Lot 29, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree — a felony punishable by two to seven years in prison — in connection with the incident.

Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported responding at 3 a.m. to a noise complaint at Greene's home and discovering her igniting the explosives.

Greene was arraigned in the Town of Macedon Court and sent to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to return to court at a later date to answer the charge.
