Wayne County correction officer promoted to sergeant

Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts recently announced the promotion of correction officer Joshua Koeberle to the rank of sergeant.

Koeberle joined the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Jail Facility in 2011. He graduated from Finger Lakes Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He currently serves on the Emergency Management Ginna Field Team, and as a jail training officer, instructor and inmate work supervisor.

His duties will support the correction officers he is accountable for, the inmates under his legal responsibility and individuals that enter the jail facility to visit, do business or provide programming for their safety, security and the good working order of the jail facility.

Ontario volunteer assists with Hurricane Harvey relief

Gary DeWitt, of Ontario, recently departed for Texas to assist with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The American Red Cross is working along the Gulf Coast to help people whose lives have been impacted by the storm. Thousands have been forced to leave their flooded homes, and more will be impacted as it continues to rain and flood.

Hundreds of volunteers from across the country are working to provide safe shelter and comfort to people impacted by Harvey. The western and central New York regions have sent 47 people and three emergency response vehicles to Texas to support efforts.

Reliant Community Credit Union promotes Marion resident

Shelley Bailey, of Marion, recently was promoted to Member Service Center manager at Reliant Community Credit Union.

In her new role, Bailey will provide leadership to MSC staff. She will be responsible for organizing, planning and directing all functions related to incoming member correspondence via telephone, email, chat and mail.

Bailey joined the credit union’s team 18 years ago, and has served various member service roles throughout her career. She most recently served as assistant manager of the Sodus branch. Bailey holds an associate degree from Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo.

Wolcott resident joins HCR Home Care

Brittany Incarnato, of Wolcott, recently joined HCR Home Care to work in its Finger Lakes region.

Incarnato will work as a home health aide in Wayne County.

HCR Home Care provides home health services to patients, physicians and other health care professionals across the state.
