Heritage Square Museum, 7147 Ontario Center Road, Ontario, will hold its annual Fall Arts and Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 23.
The show will feature Katie and Ray Bates, painting and jewelry; Grace Bilger, handwoven baskets; Mary Lou and Robert Buck, knitting, quilting and sewing; Violet Cantin, knitting, crocheting and holiday decor; Julia Charland, photography; Sage Churchill, glass; Janet Conley, paper tablets; Laurie Dirkx, matted prints and greeting cards; Susan Funk, knitting and crocheting; Jim Graves and Becky Tice, woodworking and needle arts; Diane and William Moffett, needlepunch and wood carving; Norma Phelps, painted rocks; Pines of Peace, homemade soups, jewelry and pine cone bird feeders; Lynn and Joyce Salsbury, handcrafted items made from silverware; Mary Sfikas, jewelry; Barb Simms, chalkboard designs; and Patty Slocum, decorative art and jewelry.
The silent auction will offer original art and craft items that were donated by participating artists and crafters.
This year’s show will include three tent sessions: “Drying Herbs and Tips for Safe Food Preservation with Michele Conners” at 10:30 a.m.; “Frauds, Scams and Personal Safety with Jim Lynd” at 11:30 a.m.; and “All About Gardening” with town of Ontario Garden Club at 1:30 p.m.
Lab Lover’s dog rescue will hold dog meet-and-greets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale will include a bake sale, hot dogs, chili and pie. The Budding Artist’s Tent will offer pony rides and games for children.
Heritage Square Museum’s gift shop will be open. The buildings will be open for guided tours. Parking is free; use the Brick Church Road entrance.
