FARMINGTON — Two people suffered serious injuries after a crash Monday evening on state Route 332 near state Route 96 in the Town of Farmington.
Troopers say the two people, a man and a woman, were on a motorcycle headed north when it collided with an SUV at about 7:56 p.m. on Route 332, just north of Route 96. Both were rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries; one was taken by Mercy Flight.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital for a broken arm, firefighters say. A passenger in that vehicle was not hurt.
The investigation into the crash was underway Monday night. Firefighters say it appears the SUV was pulling out of a gas station when the collision happened.
