Two horses have been found infected with the West Nile Virus in nearby Orleans County.

In a post on the Orleans Hub made by the Orleans County Health Department, officials say there have been a number of reported cases of the virus across the region.

Health officials say the horses were not vaccinated, but are recovering and doing well.
