A former Henrietta pastor is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.
Paul Burress is facing four counts of forcible touching. Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say the first incident occurred in July 2016, and the most recent incident occurred in March 2017.
Burress has been a controversial figure in the past, for promoting Mixed Martial Arts in churches. He was part of the 2014 documentary "Fight Church". In a trailer for that film, he defended fighting, saying, "If everybody loves you, you're doing something wrong."
Burress is a former pastor at Victory Church in Henrietta. The church released a statement saying:
"We are aware of allegations against a former pastor. We do not have the conclusion of the investigation, and will cooperate with local authorities. We ask everyone to please join us in prayer at this time."
