State police say a HELP truck was hit while assisting troopers at a crash on Rt. 104 in Irondequoit early Monday morning. The driver was ticketed for Move Over law and unsafe speeds.
State police say a HELP truck was hit while assisting Troopers at a crash on Rt. 104.
Around 7:15 Monday morning, state police responded to a one-car crash that was blocking the left lane of Rt.104 near Goodman Street. Troopers say 38-year-old Desi Floyd of Rochester did not see the emergency vehicles and did not slow down. Floyd then hit the rear end of the HELP truck.
Troopers say the HELP truck driver was not injured. Floyd was treated at the scene for a cut to his hand.
State police ticketed Floyd for the Move Over law and for unsafe speed.
