Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut St., Lyons, will host its Haunted Jail/Cellblock Terror event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 20-21.
The museum will change up the cellblocks to celebrate the Halloween season with cobwebs hanging from the season and monsters and zombies behind the bars. The event is designed for ages 7 and older.
Admission costs $6, and parking is available behind the museum and on the street.
Visitors can participate in Mason Winfield’s Haunted History Ghost Walks at 7 p.m. on Saturdays starting in front of Wayne County Courthouse, 26 Church St., Lyons. The tour will include psychic folklore, haunted architecture, ancient archaeological mysteries and Lyons’ ghostly heritage. Admission costs $10 for adults, $7 for children.
The Real Haunt, the museum’s newest fundraiser, will feature group spirit investigations from 8 to 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 28. Gates Paranormal, Syracuse Paranormal and CNY Ghost Hunters will bring their equipment so that visitors can join the investigation. Tickets cost $30.
Paranormal groups can conduct spirit investigations from 7 to 11 p.m. by appointment at the museum and barn. Call for pricing information.
