Canandaigua National Bank & Trust announces new hire

Canandaigua National Bank & Trust announced the addition of TJ Chamberlain to the personal banking team.

Chamberlain brings more than 13 years of experience in client management and business development to Canandaigua National Bank. Prior to his current role, Chamberlain worked for several national and local banks, including CNB where he was assistant vice president, community office manager of the Brighton branch office. Chamberlain is returning to CNB as assistant vice president and personal banker for the Canandaigua region.

This personal banker role will provide an opportunity to highlight his skills as a relationship manager, customer champion and business development leader.

Chamberlain and his wife, Kim, live in Palmyra with their four children. Chamberlain graduated with an Associate of Science in business administration from Monroe Community College and a Bachelor of Science in business administration/financial services from Empire State College.

 

Wayne cheerleaders compete in Eddie Meath All-star contest

Wayne Central High School cheerleaders recently competed in the Eddie Meath All-star Competition held at Gates Chili High School.

Seniors competed individually to cheer at the 36th annual Eddie Meath football game. The Eddie Meath Fund supports young children who are hospitalized or in need of medical attention. Proceeds from the tournament and game go toward Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Two Wayne cheerleaders were named in the top 25: Chloe Jurcsak placed sixth, and Kaitlin Girard placed 25th.

 

Lyons Elks holds children’s soccer shootout

Lyons Elks Lodge No. 869 recently held its Fall Elks Soccer Shootout for Lyons Elementary School students in grades 4-6.

First-place finishers were Shaun Wiley and Maryah Purdy, ages 8-9; Dominik Mumford and Madison Wadhams, ages 10-11; and Owen Moore and Arianna VanKoevering, ages 12-13.

Wiley finished second in his age category during the District Shootout Competition involving Elks lodges from Wolcott, Rochester, Webster-Fairport and Lyons.
