New York State introduced "Cure Childhood Cancer" license plates on Wednesday. Tim Stowell began pushing for the specialized plates three years ago. Stowell lost his son, Ben, to osteosarcoma in 2009. Five years later, he met another young cancer patient responsible for the plates in Virginia.

Stowell promised to create the plates in New York and now they're available.
