Here is what Judge Thomas Moran has to choose from. This information comes from the DA’s office.

Laura Rideout is facing as much as 25 years to life for the murder charge, and as much as 15 years for the burglary and one and a third to four years for tampering with evidence.

Colin is also facing as much as 25 years to life in prison for the murder charge, and as much as one and a third to four years on two tampering with evidence counts.

Alex Rideout was convicted on those two tampering with evidence charges. He faces up to one and a third to four years in prison on both counts. But the way the law is written in New York State, he could even be released and sentenced to conditional discharge.
