Salvatore’s Pizzeria & Pub recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open its new location at 3719 Walworth-Palmyra Road in Walworth.
Town officials and Salvatore’s corporate representatives attended the ceremony.
Frank Freida, of Rochester, owns and operates the new franchised location. Freida has worked for Salvatore’s Pizza for eight years at three locations, including managing the Lake Avenue location in Rochester. He attended Greece Athena High School.
“At only 25 years old, Frank shows much initiative and leadership,” said Ashley King, vice president of business operations. “His work ethic is above par, and we think that this location, under Frank’s guidance, will be a success. We are so happy to once again be a part of the Walworth community and to be able to service our loyal customers in this area.”
The restaurant will offer delivery, carry-out and dine-in service. The bar will offer beer, wine and free coffee.
“It has been my dream for quite some time to own my own Salvatore’s location,” Freida said. “I’ve worked in these kitchens for eight years, and I am excited to finally have a place of my own. I am proud to start my future with this great company.”
“Throughout 39 years of Salvatore’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria, several young box makers and pizza chefs are now self-employed owner/operators,” Salvatore Fantauzzo said. “We plan to continue this tradition of growth and opportunity within all of our brands.”
