The Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board announced it will unveil outcome of a transportation study to area businesses. The workshop entitled “Public Transportation in the Finger Lakes by Regional Transit Service” will take place on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board, 41 Lewis Street, Geneva.

In 2016, Regional Transit Service (RTS) conducted a regional service efficiency study in the seven counties its serve outside Monroe. The goal was “to identify ways to operate more efficiently, make improvements to existing service, discover new and foster existing business partnerships, and maintain strong relationships with individual counties,” according to the board.

Businesses in attendance will learn about the outcomes of this study.

Presenters will include: Maggie Brooks, vice president Strategic Initiatives; Bonnie Maguire, RTS Business Development Director; and Joe Moriarty, RTS Seneca and Ontario Regional Manager.
