Kelley School PTA recently sponsored its Winter Family Fun Night for over 140 people Activities included the Holiday Book Fair, cookie decorating and hot cocoa, a holiday photo booth and horse-drawn, covered wagon rides provided by Glad Acres Farms from Potter. The book fair raised over $480 for the school library. “Lots of families give the gift of reading during the holidays, and took advantage of the huge selection of Scholastic books available at the event in the main foyer,” said Michele DeYulio, PTA secretary. “A number of teachers received books that students purchased from the Book Wish List Kiosk.” The wagon rides were 20 minutes long, and more than 20 riders aboard sang holiday carols and enjoyed the December night with friends and family. DeYulio helped plan the event with PTA President Ann Cary and treasurer Juli Sharett. Glad Acres Farms provided the wagon rides for Lincoln School children during the day that were paid for by Lincoln School PTA. Cookie decorating and hot cocoa were available inside Kelley School, along with a holiday photo section.
