The Greece Town Board voted Wednesday night to settle sexual harassment claims against its former receiver of taxes.

The board approved a measure Wednesday night to authorize settlements regarding complaints of "sexual harassment and misconduct" made by two town employees against former Receiver of Taxes Rick Antelli.

At this time, it's not clear what the allegations against Antelli are or how much the settlement may cost.

In a statement, an attorney for Antelli said, "Mr. Antelli denies any wrongdoing during his time in office. He was shocked to learn during his last month in office that there was an investigation related to complaints against him. The town has never provided information relating the details or nature of this investigation, nor the identities of his accusers. After 12 years of service to the Town of Greece and long before this investigation, Mr. Antelli chose not to run for re-election to pursue his business interests.”
