The event will mark a public appearance for the three likely Republican candidates for governor.

The New York State Federation of College Republicans announced a fundraiser Feb. 2 hosting distinguished Republicans from across the state including the first public appearance for the three likely Republican candidates for governor.

“A Toast to Leading Right” will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the RIT Inn & Conference Center, 5257 W. Henrietta Road, Henrietta. Parking is available on site.

Republicans from across the state will gather to listen to speakers such as Sen. Joseph Robach, R-Greece and gubernatorial candidates: Senate Deputy Majority Leader John DeFrancisco; Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, R-Canandaigua; and former Erie County Executive Joel Giambra, among others. Some speakers will be participating in Q & A’s throughout the evening.

“The New York State Federation of College Republicans is a college campus activism group that connects students across New York State with professional development opportunities,” according to a release. “During this past fall, they have taken the leap beyond the campus and morphed into an active youth branch for Republican Values, doing deployments for candidates in key races across the state, and even sending members to work in battleground elections when called to arms in other states.
