Western Wayne Art Group will host Patricia Tribastone, of Canandaigua, for its next monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Walworth Town Hall, 3600 Lorraine Drive.
Tribastone primarily paints in pastel and oil. She was included in many national exhibitions. Tribastone participates in Pastel Society of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, International Guild of Realism, Salmagundi Club of New York City, Oil Painters of America, Adirondack Pastel Society, Pastel Society of Western New York and Connecticut Pastel Society.
Most of her paintings depict still life, and are done in a representational style. Her use of color and light are distinguishing factors in her work. Tribastone is a full-time artist, and maintains a gallery/studio in downtown Canandaigua. She is represented by Oxford Gallery in Rochester and Gallery 3040 in Old Forge.
Western Wayne Art Group members meet on the third Tuesdays of the month to learn from visiting demonstrators, participate in workshops, spend time getting to know each other better as fellow artists and sell their work. Visitors are welcome.
