Lily Chiagozie, of Williamson, was named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at Hofstra University in Hempstead. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 3.5 semester GPA.

Sarah Blejwas and Zoe Paris, of Macedon, and Nathaniel Statt, of Marion, were named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a minimum 3.5 quality GPA.

Courtney Ameele, of Palmyra, and the Oswego State women’s basketball team recently recorded a 67-55 victory at SUNY Plattsburgh. Ameele recorded a 33-point performance, and became the 10th member of the Oswego State 1,000-point club.

Evan MacDougall, of Walworth, was named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. To be eligible, students must complete at least 15 credits and earn a minimum 3.5 GPA. MacDougall is a finance major.

Carleen Dettman, Emily Haugh and Owen Howard, of Macedon, and Emily Scofield, of Walworth, were named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at University at Albany. To be eligible, students must earn a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Alina Mueller, of Macedon; Luke Nau, of Palmyra; and Katelyn Gibson and Elijah Munoz, of Walworth, received scholarships from University of Rochester in fall 2017. Mueller received a Frederick Douglass & Susan B. Anthony Scholarship. Nau received a Bausch + Lomb Scholarship. Gibson received a Early Collegiate Scholarship. Munoz received a George Eastman Young Leaders Award Scholarship.
