Canandaigua police say a man confronted two teenage girls on Valentines Day in Baker Park.

According to police, Michael J. Orbino, 41, confronted the girls yelling racial slurs and continued to follow the girls throughout the park, shouting racial slurs and putting them in fear for their safety.

Orbino was charged shortly after 6 p.m., Feb. 14, with two counts of stalking in the third degree as a hate crime. Orbino was sent to Ontario County Jail without bail.
