A Rochester Institute of Technology student and her father have been indicted on murder charges in the death of her mother.
Karrie Neurauter, 20, is charged as an accomplice on four counts, including second-degree murder. Her father, Lloyd Neurauter, is facing nine counts, including first-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder and first-degree burglary.
Police say 46-year-old Michele Neurauter was strangled to death in her Corning home last August, and her death was staged to look like a suicide.
Lloyd is Michelle's ex-husband. Investigators say the two had an ongoing custody battle over Karrie, their youngest daughter.
Both Lloyd and Karrie Neurauter were arrested last month.
Karrie is a fourth-year student at RIT.
