This year’s United Way spring campaign will run from March through May.
Donations will support the United Way of Wayne County Community Fund, which invests in education, health and emergency crisis needs programs.
Education programs provide youth with the resources they need to succeed in school, work and life. Health programs increase health behaviors to improve the quality of life for toddlers, elders and everyone in between. Critical needs programs help individuals and families navigate a crisis by providing emergency and basic needs support.
Donations stay local by helping neighbors put food on the table, reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect to be successful in school and life, providing a safe shelter for domestic violence victims to stabilize their lives, helping people with emergency basic needs to avoid long-term hardships and supplying needed tools for all ages to achieve better mental and physical health to thrive.
