Joshua Schiavo-Greenly, of Ontario, is among 106 professional golf management students to earn a minimum 3.0 GPA in fall 2017 at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to stay enrolled in the program.

Noah Boss, of Macedon, was named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at The College at Brockport. To be eligible, students must earn a 3.4-3.69 GPA. Boss is a junior mathematics major.

Anna Reale, of Lyons; Abigail Shelhamer, of Macedon; and Britni Stupin, of Palmyra, were named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at St. Lawrence University in Canton. To be eligible, students must complete at least four courses and earn a minimum 3.6 academic average.

Lydia Champagne, Melanie McBride, Jonathan Morrison and Dominic Vassallo, of Macedon; John Himes, Ashley Pennington and Lauren Schroo, of Newark; Nicholas Galusha and Tyler Hecht, of Ontario; Jane McGowan and Charlotte Hedges, of Palmyra; Emilie Pitts, of Red Creek; Ayden Wickman, of Sodus; Patrick Saiff, of Sodus Point; Jordan Cohan, Anna Gagliano, Casey Kunzer, Amy Tichacek and Manuel Vilarinho; and Samantha Zimmerman, of Williamson, were named to the fall 2017 dean’s list at SUNY Fredonia. To be eligible, students must carry at least 12 credit hours and earn a minimum 3.3 semester GPA.

Emma Strujo, of Macedon, took part in the 2017-18 Alternative Winter Break program at SUNY Oswego. Strujo, a senior biology major, volunteered with Project Lazarus in New Orleans. The nonprofit organization provides transitional housing to people living with HIV and AIDS.
