Thursday night around 8:30 on 8th Street in Rochester, officers found a 33-year-old man shot in his upper body and a 14-year-old girl shot in her lower body. Police believe the girl was hit by a stray bullet. The investigation is underway.
Police are investigating after two people were shot Thursday night in the area of 8th Street in Rochester.
At around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, officers located a 33-year-old man shot in his upper body and a 14-year-old girl shot in the lower body. Both were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe the 14-year-old was not near the other victim, but up the street and was struck by a stray round.
There are no suspects in custody at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
