City officials say all events will be able to go forward this summer as planned. The Rhinos have until September to commit to fielding a team for the 2019 season. If it is unable to meet that deadline, the lease will be terminated at the end of the year.

Rochester has reached an agreement with the Rochester Rhinos over its Capelli Sport Stadium lease.

City officials say all events will be able to go forward this summer as planned. The Rhinos have until September to commit to fielding a team for the 2019 season. If it is unable to meet that deadline, the lease will be terminated at the end of the year.

Part of this agreement will increase the team's rent and increase the amount of money given to the city through alcohol sales.

This back and forth between the city and the Rhinos started last fall when the team announced it's skipping the 2018 season. City officials maintained taking a year off violates the Rhinos contract with the city.
