Episcopal SeniorLife Communities is exhibiting “Boats, Barns and Other Buildings” by Paul Martin, of Walworth, through May 27 in My Sister’s Gallery at The Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mount Hope Ave., Rochester.
Martin, a Marcellus native, attended SUNY Cortland and Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He later moved to Rochester, and raised his family in Ontario. He previously showed paintings at the Clothesline Arts Festival, in local galleries and in plein air events.
He mostly works with watercolor. Martin’s paintings cover everything from the Adirondack scenes to boats and buildings. He said he particularly enjoys plein air movement.
The display of watercolors and landscapes is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free. The gallery is handicapped-accessible.
