Ontario Garden Club installs new officers

The town of Ontario Garden Club recently installed new officers during a meeting with Dorothy Grant, president, 7th District, Federated Garden Clubs of New York State.

Outgoing co-presidents are Joann Fisher and Lois Mooney. Elaine Munson and Pat Delperdange continue their roles as secretary and treasurer, respectively. New co-presidents are Kathy Buttermore and Kathy Fedison.

The club celebrated its new officers with a luncheon and induction ceremony.

 

Palmyra resident joins HR Works

Evelyn Ernst, of Palmyra, recently joined HR Works Inc. in Fairport as a benefits analyst.

Ernst has more than four years of experience in human resources. She will leverage her expertise in customer service, Section 125 and FBS benefits, voluntary product applications, payroll audits, processing enrollments, additions and terminations. Ernst will work directly with new hires to support HR Works’ Benefits Administration Services Department.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Ernst holds a state license in life, accident and health insurance.

 

Local residents named SWBR shareholders

Corina Folts, of Macedon, and Sheri Seitz, of Ontario recently were named shareholders at SWBR in Rochester.

Folts joined SWBR three years ago. She is an interior designer on the team for the McQuaid Jesuit science, technology, engineering and mathematics addition, Rochester Institute of Technology Global Village expansion, SUNY Cortland Corey Union and University of Rochester Genesee Hall.

Seitz, finance manager, has been with SWBR for 34 years.

SWBR recently converted to a design professional corporation through New York State Department of State. As a result, all professionals have an opportunity to become shareholders at SWBR. Traditionally, only licensed professionals were eligible for this opportunity.
