Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio is expected to be arraigned Friday on three probation violations, including a felony charge for attempting to buy a shotgun.

Astacio was supposed to be arraigned last Friday, but it was postponed so she could hire an attorney.

According to court paperwork, Astacio tried to buy a gun at Dick's Sporting Goods in Henrietta earlier this month.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct removed Astacio as a judge on Tuesday, citing her charges and her behavior on the bench.

Our news partner, News10NBC sat down exclusively with Astacio's supervising judge. We asked him if he knew about Astacio's behavior.

"So it's not appropriate for me to talk about specific complaints that I received in my capacity as the administrative judge, but I can tell you with certainty that had I received them they would have been acted on immediately and appropriately," Judge Craig Doran said.

No word yet on if Astacio will appeal her removal as a judge. She's still getting paid at this point.

Astacio is scheduled to be at the Hall of Justice at 1:30 p.m.
